Abraham is a happy outgoing child. He likes to work with his hands and put things together. He is highly motivated to do well in all areas of his life. Physically healthy, Abraham enjoys swimming, but his favorite sports are basketball and soccer. He likes to watch television game shows and listen to music. He enjoys cooking and his favorite meal is a spaghetti dinner. A very intelligent child, Abraham enjoys school and likes math and science. He also has good study habits. He is a very determined child who sticks with a task until it is completed. Abraham is close to his foster parents, older brother and friends from church. He participates in group events like sports, but seems to prefer more solitary activities. Apprehensive about adoption, Abraham will need time to transition to a new family. An older brother is currently living with him in foster care, but will be turning 18 soon. Continued contact with this sibling is desired. Abraham wants a family that will believe in him and be consistent. He would do best in a two-parent home with a strong father figure. He does well with young children and older siblings. He wants a family that will be very active in his life. The family also needs to be warm and loving. They should be patient and allow for the time he will need to adjust to living in a new home. Abraham would like to have brothers and sisters. He would prefer a Christian family that is involved with their church. Abraham does not have a preference between an urban or rural home.
