Albert's strengths according to him is that he is caring, loving, gives good advice and likes to help around the house. Albert is a likable youth who is timid and shy. He has a few friends at school because he feels that friendship is important. Albert prefers to read at the school library during lunch. His favorite book is Harry Potter, he mentioned that he liked the book better than the movie. Albert tries to keep to himself as much as possible although he does interact well with other children his age. He is planning to run for class president and is currently part of the Student Council at school. Albert is a A/B Honor roll student and his favorite subjects are Science and Reading. Albert enjoys spending time with his brothers and sisters and would like for this relationship to continue even when he is adopted. Albert has a mouse and a rat as pets. He likes to take care of them and play with them outside the house. Albert mentioned that he really wanted a Hamster but could only afford the rat and mouse with his allowance. Albert's adoptive family should be willing to maintain contact with Albert's siblings. The family should be willing to help Albert educationally and also to teach him social skills that he is presently learning. Albert would benefit from a family that is structured. Albert has also expressed an interest in an adoptive family who will help and support his desire to go to college and become a scientist. He is eligible for the college tuition waiver. Albert would like to have younger children in the home so he can be the older brother.
