Alex is a friendly, talkative, and endearing boy who likes to flash his bright, beautiful smile. He has the ability to get along well with adults and bond and attach with them. Alex enjoys playing video games and is very good at Sudoku and crossword puzzles. He also enjoys Legos and building and creating things. He has enjoyed playing baseball on an organized team and participating in Karate lessons. Alex is extremely intelligent and proud to have made the A/B honor roll since coming into foster care. He is currently in a treatment facility where he is receiving exclusive therapy to help him deal with past traumas and experiences. Alex needs to learn how to make and be friends with peers. Because Alex is in a treatment facility and will likely be there for some time, an adoptive family for him must be willing to work with his doctors and be a visiting resource with him, then provide a loving, nurturing home when he is ready to move. Alex is a child with a great deal of future potential. His adoptive family will need to work with him to develop appropriate social skills. Alex needs a family who will encourage him and commit to his best interests in whatever his future brings. He should be the only or youngest child in the adoptive family.
