Antonio is a caring, competitive, and active boy who loves being involved in community activities. He enjoys playing the drums and trumpet, attending church, and playing football and basketball. He is active in several organizations, including being vice president of the youth missionary at his church. Antonio also participates in dance, choir (school and church) and plays baseball in a community youth league. He intends to become a lawyer when he grows up. Antonio is a very intelligent boy who attends regular classes. While he usually struggles the first half of the school year, Antonio works tremendously hard and always brings his grades up by the last two grading periods. He has won reading awards and scores very well on the end of grade tests. Antonio is addressing some recent behaviors through counseling. Antonio says he wants to be adopted and have "a normal life". He wants to be able to do all the things that "normal" kids do. An adoptive family for Antonio should be active in the community and eager to share exciting experiences with him. His adoptive family should provide him with the kind of structured home life that will ensure his safety, security, and make him feel loved.
