David and Ashley have been together in the same foster home since coming into care and it is important that an adoptive family for them understand their bond and welcome them both into a nurturing and supportive home. According to his foster mom, “David is a very sweet little boy who melts your heart with his smile.” He is a healthy and active boy with mischievous brown eyes. David enjoys doing anything outdoors, making arts and crafts, and playing computer games. He also enjoys skating, bowling, and going to the beach. David attends a specialized classroom at school where his individual education plan has helped him with compliance in turning in assignments and accomplishing some challenging tasks. He has made marked progress in following directions, using manners, and developing appropriate social skills. David also receives speech and occupational therapy on a weekly basis. Ashley is a friendly, talkative, and sensitive girl with freckles and sparkling blue eyes. She is also sweet, shy, and loyal and wants to be a doctor or scientist when she grows up. Ashley enjoys swimming, playing Xbox, playing outdoors, and making arts and crafts. She also likes to go skating and bowling. Ashley attends regular classes at school where she usually maintains an A average in all subjects and behavioral areas. She completes her work with little prompting and enjoys learning and helping the other children in her home. Ashley is working on appropriate methods of expressing her anger and frustration. It is hoped that a two-parent family will adopt David and Ashley. They will greatly benefit from strong role models that will enable them both to learn to build and maintain healthy and positive relationships with family and friends. Like most children, David and Ashley will benefit from a structured, stable, and nurturing environment.
