Ashley loves to read, watch movies and television. She enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities. She loves animals. Ashley also helps with family chores, but does need some supervision in order to complete them properly. Ashley likes soccer. She also enjoys going shopping and hanging out with friends. Ashley does very well in school. Her school curriculum includes some behavior modification classes. Ashley takes medication to help calm her mood swings. Her medication seems to be effective. She will need to continue in therapy to address issues related to her behavior. She can be a very affectionate person who is considerate of others most of the time. Ashley has not had appropriate parental role models in her life and very much likes spending time with mother figures. Others say that Ashley is "full of energy," "sweet when she chooses to be," and "very likeable." Ashley has mixed feelings about adoption because she is afraid of getting hurt. Her adoptive family will need to be patient in helping her to work through the adoption transition. Ashley needs a permanent, stable family to love and care for her. She is friendly and outgoing. Ashley will do best in a home where she will receive lots of attention. Her family will need to guide her in making good decisions as she enters adolescence.
