Ben has beautiful brown eyes that melt your heart. He needs a family that will provide him with patience and consistency. Benjamin enjoys playing video games, watching cartoons and movies. One of his favorite cartoons is Drake and Josh and his favorite movie is Disney’s Ratatouille (rat-a-too-ee). He just started playing football and enjoys the activity. He absolutely loves pepperoni pizza and chocolate chip cookies. Ben would also like to try cooking when he is a bit bigger and can reach all the elements on the stove. Ben’s counselor says that Ben is a caring, loving, whitty, fearless young man with a very warm personality. Ben needs a family that will commit to him and understand that he has experienced a great deal of loss in his life. A family will need to be supportive of him and help process those losses by participating in counseling. A family will need to provide patience and consistency to help Ben develop positive social skills. A family will need to understand that Benjamin has developed poor coping strategies and is in the process of learning more effective methods of coping with challenges. Benjamin needs a family that will be able to set firm limits and focus on his strengths. They will need to be positive with him and help learn to face frustrations with a positive attitude.
