Description

Brooke is an endearing child who is constantly learning her roles and her responsibilities as a young adult. She has a genuine, outgoing personality. Brooke loves to swim and has plans in the near future to join a swim team. She also likes to play outdoors, skate, compete athletically and participate in any recreational activities. Brooke communicates well with her peers and has demonstrated the ability to establish friendships. Brooke enjoys school and she does receive additional assistance with her school. At times, Brooke's behavior has to be redirected through motivation by implementing specific consequences and rewards that she can relate to. These methods have proven to be successful in addressing Brooke's behaviors. Brooke is emotional at times and therefore she needs structure. She will need a lot of special attention from an adoptive family.

Brooke needs a loving and supportive family that can provide her with the structure that she needs. Brooke needs a family with patience and the ability to show affection. Brooke may function better in a home where she is the only or the oldest child in the home. A two parent home would best meet Brooke's needs.
