Description

Carlos is a quite and gentle child, who's waiting for a "forever family". He enjoys going to the park, playing with his toys and coloring. He especially likes being read to. He attends weekly therapy where he's working on issues, improving his social skills and adoption. Carlos is easily frustrated, thus he will act out or whine when he doesn't get his way. His behaviors have improved, but he still needs to be supervised and re-directed. At school, Carlos attends classes with smaller amounts of children. His classes are modified to meet his academic needs. Because of his speech delay, he receives speech therapy. What Carlos needs now is a permanent, loving home where he can continue to work at being his best. With the right family Carlos can grow and blossom. He needs a two-parent family that is patient and consistent. Carlos thrives with one-on-one attention, so it will be ideal if he's the only or youngest child in the family. He will need on-going therapy to address his emotional needs.
