Some of My Favorite Things:
Coffee ice cream, apple slices with peanut butter, and Chinese food.
Some of My Least Favorite Things:
People who are mean and hurt others; being bossed around by older kids; and some girls ("they can be annoying”)..
Activities I Enjoy:
Outdoor activities such as riding four wheelers, swimming, playing baseball, and horseback riding; eating out at places like Friendly’s and Chinese restaurants; playing card games like the Memory game; playing with action figures; and creating rescue stories.
What I Would Like in a Family:
Parents who will read me bedtime stories, tuck me in at night, give me hugs, and keep me safe. A family that enjoys spending time together, doing things together, playing games, and going out to eat.
What I Would Like a Family to Know About Me:
I tend to worry about things. I am an early riser and like to stay busy all day. I enjoy talking--a lot! And I don't always give other people the chance to talk.
What We are Seeking in a Family for Charles:
A family with no young children in the home. Parents with lots of time to devote to him and a high level of energy so they can keep up with him. Parents who can provide him with structure, clear boundaries, and reasonable expectations.
What We Would like You to Know About Charles:
Charles has a tremendous amount of energy and interest in the world around him. He needs a family that can help him channel his energy, focus on his strengths, and deal with issues related to his past. He currently takes medication that helps him manage his anxiety and issues related to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
