CHEYANNA (09/91) is the most unique and resilient young lady you will ever meet! She is highly intelligent, and a extremely gifted and talented artist. She reads on the twelfth grade to college level, and excells at hands on projects. She is very candid in conversation, has good verbal skills and is polite and respectful to adults. Cheyanna describes herself as entertaining and funny, and that she is! However, behind all these wonderful attributes is a young lady who has endured much trauma and abuse in her life and has some issues with low self-esteem, and trust. She deals with feelings of fear, shame, and sadness and this often interferes with her ability to interact with peers. To deal with these issues Cheyanna enjoys working in the garden and taking care of animals. She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Cheyanna wants a forever family to call her own, and says she is not picky but would like a family with animals and other kids to play with. She says, "if a family can love me, I can love them."
