Dean is a funny child who is capable of getting along with others and initiating his own play activities. Academically, Dean performs at grade level in reading and writing. Dean performs well in word recognition and comprehension. However, he does exhibit weakness in handwriting capability. Dean continues to make progress in his behavior at school and in the completion of his assignments. Dean is placed in a modified classroom setting. Interpersonal relationships are difficult for Dean to form and maintain. He enjoys playing video games, coloring, drawing and spending time outside. However, he becomes easily frustrated with sports he has not mastered thus refusing to participate and consequently separating himself from the group. Dean thoroughly enjoys playing floor hockey and exhibits great skills. Dean has an older brother and sister. Dean needs a family who allow continued contact with his siblings.
