Elijah (5/92) is a tall, slender teenager with black hair and brown eyes who is always smiling. Elijah is friendly and gets along well with others but he does prefer the company of younger children or being by himself. Elijah is in the 8th grade in a structured classroom. He has done well there because of the small classroom setting. Elijah is a sweet, soft spoken child who is proud of his height and his size 14 shoe. He does not play organized sports but loves trucks and action figures. Elijah likes to draw and do projects that work with the hands. Elijah is looking for a permanent, loving family. A family who can help him grow as an individual and be there as a support during his adult life. Elijah also needs to maintain contact with a sibling who is not being placed for adoption with him and with a friend that he is very close to. Elijah would do well with a single or two parent family, with or without children.
