Emily is a beautiful girl with soft blue eyes and a fabulous smile. She is caring, conscientious, and friendly, as well as polite and sociable. Emily is able to convey her thoughts effectively through her writing and she enjoys keeping a journal and writing poetry. She enjoys listening to all kinds of music, eating Chinese food, and would like to become a pediatric nurse or veterinarian.
Emily attends regular classes at school where she has made good progress. On some days she is very attentive and does well, while other days she might have trouble staying focused on her work. Tutoring is helping her improve her grades in some of her tougher subjects, such as math. Emily is working hard at building age appropriate relationships with peers, adults, and her siblings. She is open about her past and working towards finding peace in her life.
Emily hopes for adoptive parents who are understanding, loving, open-minded, and fair. It is imperative that she be a major part in any decisions made concerning her life and future. Emily deserves the opportunity to be a "regular" teenager with no more to worry about than what new movie to see or which pair of sneakers to wear.
