Description
Hussain is described as having a very calm, quiet temperament at first impression. His voice tone is described as very monotone. He is a young child who does not smile all the time. He is the oldest brother and has a tendency to act as the parent of his younger brothers. It is difficult for him to not act as the parent and to remember that it is not his job. His foster family says that Hussain demonstrates a great desire to improve his behaviors and take responsibility. He really likes books (even though he might deny how much he enjoys reading). Hussain just lights up when talking about a book that he likes, especially history. He is also very good at organizing things and can really spend a long time on a task that he likes. He is a very bright child that has the ability to learn but does need to be motivated especially when it comes to math.
Hussain, Ali and Hamzeh are three darling siblings who are as close to each other as they are in age. They are however, very different in their interests and personalities. Hussain lists macaroni as his favorite food while Ali and Hamzeh lists pizza with olives as their favorite food. Hussain, Ali and Hamzeh are a close sibling group and are eager to be a part of a "forever" family. They understand what it means to be adopted and want to be with a family that will just love them, no matter what. They need a family that will provide lots of structure and attention. They would also benefit from being with a family that has long-term experience working with children and that are willing to build trust and be committed to these boys. They need a family that can model the appropriate way that a mother and father should interact with each other and their children.
