Description
Jesse is a very sweet, fun loving little boy, who loves to give big hugs. He likes to talk to everyone, although his speech is difficult to understand. He tries very hard to make people understand. Jesse has difficulty managing day-to-day life alone, but welcomes assistance from others. He needs help in getting dressed at times. It is important to Jesse to have some independence regarding his every day life skills and he will help others do things around the house. Jesse is a protector and likes to comfort others and it is important that he sometimes be in charge. Jesse may learn at a slower rate but he likes school and does well in his classes. He tries really hard to learn everything taught to him. He is able to recognize sight words. Computers are of interest to Jesse and he will do extra chores to earn more time on the computer. He enjoys going out on activities, but does not like to be in crowds for a very long period of time. He loves working with horses on the ranch and is very good at grooming them. Jesse will benefit from one-on-one attention with parents or in a strong well-structured single parent home. He does well in equestrian therapy and it would be recommended that the adoptive family continue this type of therapy.
