John Thomas has survived the storms, weathered the winds, and triumphed over the turbulence in his life. His struggles are obvious to those who know him and have witnessed his perseverance. But, to the average person John Thomas is a sweet and caring little boy who is kind and polite to everyone. John Thomas does well in school. His grades and conduct continue to improve. John Thomas enjoys playing all kinds of sports. He is a team player and is quick to cooperate and work with others. John Thomas has the ability to place others before himself. He is noted as a child who doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Even when John Thomas acts out he is easily redirected and quickly forgiven. He is not noted to act out of malice or ill will. John Thomas gets along with all of his Foster siblings. His Foster Parents are very proud of his progress and resilience. John Thomas has experienced tremendous losses in his life. He expressed his grief, frustration, confusion, and hurt through having tantrums and taking other people's things for a season. The behaviors have since declined but the grief is still being addressed. John requires a good routine of fiber in his diet. He does very well with structure and consistency. John Thomas enjoys playing video games. He is very talkative after he warms up to you. John Thomas is a delightful conversationalist. He can even be funny. John Thomas is usually described the same way which is "a good kid". Everyone seems to smile when they think about the polite mild mannered child who gives out so much love no matter what life gives him in return.

John Thomas needs parents who will give him three C's. They will make a commitment to help him through his grief, Show him compassion through love and understanding, and care for his needs physically, emotionally and spiritually. John will love to have siblings or have all of the attention as an only child. He attaches to his care givers easily. It is asked that his new parents hold on to him tight and never let him go.
