Jose is a loving, affectionate and playful young man. He speaks both Spanish and English. Jose can communicate very well with his caregivers regarding his feelings about any issue he may have as well as facts about why he may be feeling this way. Jose is very affectionate at times and he loves attention from his caregiver. He can be irritable towards younger and older children. Jose loves to draw and he plays well with his foster brother and sisters. Jose likes playing games inside and outside, he also enjoys watching cartoons. He loves school, however, he has to be re-directed from time to time while at school and at home. At times Jose will act out by attempting to hit his foster siblings, but he understands that there are consequences for his behavior and he's often remorseful afterwards.

Jose needs a family that can provide him with consistenecy in caregiving, parenting style, a safe and happy home environment, consequences for negative behavior and a structured daily routine. Jose also needs a fun loving family that will support him and accept him. Jose will best benefit from a one parent or a two parent family with plenty of patience as he grows into a nice young man. It is recommended that Jose be the youngest in the family.
