Josh is a cheerful, caring teen with a big heart. He’s outgoing and likes to interact with his peers and they enjoy his sense of humor. Josh enjoys being active and helping others with their tasks. Inquisitive and creative, he likes to draw and do a variety of art projects. Musically, Josh likes to sing, play the harmonica, guitar and the recorder. He also enjoys animals, reading, playing video games, roller skating and skateboarding. The sports he enjoys playing include football, baseball and soccer. Josh hopes his adoptive family will enjoy traveling and participating in sports with him. He has strong loyalty towards his two siblings and needs a family that will allow him continued contact with them. Josh says, “I would like two older brothers, a younger brother, a mom, and a dad to teach me sports.” A strong, active, yet patient single male or two-parent family with older siblings would be best for Josh. The family will need to work closely with Josh’s school teachers advocating for his best interests as school is a struggle for Josh. Josh also needs help with his social skills and expressing his feelings appropriately. Being able to stay active with such activities as running or playing ball is a good outlet for Joshua. He does much better when he is given lots of positive one-on-one attention and is encouraged frequently.
