Description
These beautiful children, VICTORIA, JESSICA, JP, and JOSHUA, are definitely siblings. Josh (born 6/96)gets good grades but doesn’t bring his work home and sometimes the bus driver calls… It is hard being the youngest of four and Josh keeps it that way. His foster mom says he is the scapegoat, but that he earns it too. He likes to be in control of the attention and plays his older sibs like a fiddle. Josh is doing better and on some things has made huge progress. For example, he has gone from being hug phobic to now being able to ask for them…and loving each one! It takes a lot of courage to be that vulnerable. He is a tough little boy. These four have been in some harsh situations and have hung in there. They are strong kids. They came into care with no sense of who they were, hurt, fearful and feeling hopeless. Each one has come a very long way because of who they are and their excellent foster mother’s hard work. You can sense their intelligence and wits. You heard their flexibility about being in the city or country and with other, new siblings. Right now, each one has his or her own room and that is not necessary, but it helps. A dad is one thing they all mentioned wanting - a good one this time. They have struggled with the thought of being adopted and are now open... and waiting. If you are thinking that being a parent to four children would not be easy, consider being four children without a parent.
