Description

Josiah is a sweet and loveable child who loves one-on-one attention. He is an affectionate boy who likes to give hugs. He enjoys playing with his brother Richard and his toys. Josiah is generally easy going, but he can be competitive. He will show you he is upset when he does not get his way. Josiah has significant developmental delays and some medical issues that will need monitoring. He has a heart murmur and a leaky heart valve. He has been through numerous surgeries in his short life including the removal of tonsils, adenoids and insertion of tubes in his ears. He is very active at times and at others is sad and keeps to himself. He has some speech problems and he takes medication daily. He attends special education classes in school where he participates in speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. Josiah loves to eat almost anything except tomatoes. He likes vegetables, especially corn, pizza, hamburgers, salad and fried chicken. He does not like to watch much television, but he knows various songs from the Barney show. He prefers to look at picture books. He loves Spiderman and animals and is learning to play Nintendo games.

Richard and Josiah need a family willing to adopt them both and keep them together. They have a variety of developmental, emotional and medical issues that will need to be addressed. Richard is the younger of the two brothers and is a happy, loveable boy. Josiah is a sweet and loveable child who loves one-on-one attention. He is an affectionate boy who likes to give hugs.
