Description
Krista is a 14 year old girl with reddish brown hair and blue eyes. She is currently in the 7th grade. Krista is a beautiful young girl with a beautiful smile. Krista loves horses, swimming, riding bicycles, and the outdoors. Krista can be very friendly and exhibit a great deal of determination when she desires to complete a task. She enjoys drawing and a variety of tasks. She can entertain herself most of the time.
Krista came into custody because of severe neglect. Krista does suffer from issues which are a result of the trauma she suffered from coming from a home where there was severe neglect. Krista is currently in counseling and may continue to need counseling to address some of these issues. Krista may need attachment therapy. Krista is currently on medication to help her with the issues as well.
Krista is in the 7th grade and has an IEP. Krista states that she likes school and tries her best. Krista also states that she sometimes doesn’t mind and that school is hard for her at times. She is impacted negatively educationally by possible dyslexia.
Krista needs parents that are able to set limits and be consistent. Krista needs a family that will provide her unconditional love and the security of a family. Krista needs parents that know when to pick their battles. She needs a strong-willed mother who can set boundaries. Krista needs a family that will work with her on setting appropriate rules. Krista wants her “forever” home.
