Kahlil, born November 1995 is a very shy child. He likes going to school, making new friends and helping others out. Kahlil likes to read and tries really hard to achieve high marks and good grades in school. Kahlil has a mentor through the Big Brother/Big Sister program, who provides him with a positive and renewed outlook on the social aspects of life. Kahlil sees his Big Brother as a role model and enjoys spending time with him. Kahlil is well-behaved, respectful and rarely needs to be re-directed. His teachers describe him as helpful and a joy to have in the classroom. He does need special education services to help meet his special learning needs. Kahlil is part of a large sibling group, however, due to various circumstances he only has contact with one sister. Kahlil wants to be adopted more than anything else in this world. He longs for the love of a family.
