Description
Karina is a very sweet and endearing girl. She has a nurturing personality and has a sincere concern for others. She is respectful and has good manners. She likes to help take care of babies or small children and says she wants to be a mommy. Karina is always laughing even though her arthritis has her in a constant state of pain. She needs to keep warm to keep her joints and muscles from becoming too stiff. She never complains and is happy playing with her dolls, playing with toy dishes and playing "house". She likes playing school as a teacher telling her dolls what they need to learn. She loves spending time with her foster aunt who is a teacher. She gets along very well with others. She loves school and enjoys making arts and crafts. Karina has a slower rate of learning and is in a self-contained classroom. She uses a walker at school. She is not able to read but can write her name. Karina is a cheerleader for her school football team. She takes a long tine remembering how to write certain letters, but always tries her best. She needs encouragement to keep moving so her muscles can stay warm. Karina is also diagnosed with Anorexia and Bulemia so requires supervision around meal time. Karina loves animals and ladybugs.
