Description

Keyonda is described as cute, likable, witty, and spontaneous. She has a lovely smile and, while she enjoys meeting new people, can appear to be shy at first. Keyonda likes to play computer and video games, dance, listen to music, buy new clothes, and spend time with her siblings and friends. She also likes to play volleyball and basketball and has set goals for herself that include going to college and playing basketball in the WNBA. Keyonda attends specialized classes where, with the support of a personal technician, she is better able to stay on task. Some of her counseling goals include managing her behavior, staying focused in class, completing assignments and household chores, and taking responsibility for her actions. Keyonda has made a lot of progress and her attitude is much more positive since moving in with her current foster mom. Keyonda is excited about being adopted. She needs an adoptive family with training and experience with some of the challenges foster children have from past experiences. The ideal family would be trained or willing to train as a therapeutic resource family to establish the consistent daily routine that Keyonda requires to do her best.
