Khristopher is a beautiful, bright-eyed young man who is a joy to know and well-liked by teachers, family, and friends. He is soft-spoken and bashful until he feels comfortable, and then his playful personality comes out and reveals an entirely different boy. Khristopher has a big heart and a sweetness you don't often see in a teenaged boy. He loves sports and is good at most of them, but his absolute favorite is basketball. If he could go anywhere he wanted, Khristopher says he’d like to return to the Bahamas.
Khristopher attends regular classes at school where he works very hard. School is currently a challenge for him and he needs to work hard to keep up. With the guidance and support of his current foster mom, Khristopher has developed a very positive and appropriate attitude.
An adoptive family for Khristopher will need training and experience in working with children who have dealt with loss and separation on a large scale. He is a wonderful boy who would likely benefit more from siblings close to his age with interests similar to his. Khristopher needs the same kind of support, encouragement, stability, and love that his foster mom has shown, and with that he will surely continue this path and be a shining light in his adoptive family's hearts. He has siblings with whom he will need to maintain visits and contact.
