Kristy frequently smiles and is a cheerful young lady. Kristy enjoys physical activity such has cheerleading, skating and swimming. She is an outgoing person and makes friends easily. Kristy enjoys church, playing outside, going to the movies, camping, fishing, swimming and going to the beach. Kristy enjoys various kinds of music including popular and country. She has a great relationship with her foster siblings and with her current foster parents. Her foster family describes her as outgoing and goal oriented. Kristy describes herself as "all girl" and loves activities such as painting her fingernails, shopping and going to the mall. She has made tremendous strides in her reading and writing ability and enjoys practicing her reading skills. Kristy would love to be adopted by a family who is active and fun loving. She would benefit from a family with parenting experience who understands teenagers. Kristy would like to have siblings, but would do best as an only child or the youngest child because of her need for individualized attention. Kristy needs a family that will keep her involved in sports, cheerleading, church and other positive activities, and would continue to help Kristy flourish. Kristy also needs a family that has some basic structure and supervision in the home. Kristy will need continued positive academic assistance. Kristy has a brother who lives with relatives, a sister who has been adopted and a grandfather. She has a close relationship with these family members and she hopes to be able to maintain contact with them.
