Lawrence has a million dollar smile and he knows it. He said that people tell him he has a beautiful smile all the time. He added that he shows off his pearly whites quite a lot, "because people make me laugh. And when they look at me, they just want to make me laugh." Tickled by his own statement,Lawrence giggle filled the room. A charming and curious nine year old, Lawrence likes to play video games,ride his bike and head out of the house for day trip adventures. Another activity Lawrence enjoys is swimming. When beating the Arizona heat in the local pool, Lawrence finds plenty of fun things to do. His favorite,by far, doing underwater summersault. "I do front flips inside of the water," he explained, lifting his arms over his head in a diving motion. Someone in the room commented that they get water up their nose when they do front flips in the pool. Lawrence eyes lit up "me too! All the time,"he giggle. A hearty eater, Lawrence likes all sorts of foods. His list of favorite dishes is long: "sloppy Joes,hamburgers,hot dogs,pancakes...". He also likes drinking juice. He named off his favorites not by flavor but by color,"u,purple,orange and red." And for dessert? Chocolate cake with vanilla icing is Lawrence's favorite after dinner treat. Lawrence is in the third grade this year. He noted that he likes school and is especially fond of his math class. He said that he loves counting and working hard to answer mathematical problems. In addition to this class,Lawrence looks forward to two other times during the school day: "recess and lunch." Like most kids his age,he loves recess "because you get to have a lot of fun and play." He noted that he and his friends usually play basketball during this time. Lawrence,who described himself as a playful and funny boy,hopes to become an NBA player when he grows up. He would especially love to play for his home team. the Phoenix Suns!
