Mark is a generally happy child who enjoys learning new things. He is active, playful, loving, and polite. Mark enjoys hands-on activities such as building airplane and car models from scratch. He has a good imagination and enjoys playing with computers. Because Mark acts young for his age and tends to become overly excited, he must be redirected when he acts impulsively. He does best in an environment that is predictable, consistent, and nurturing with caregivers who set clear and consistent limits, and provide frequent verbal praise for his positive behavior. Physically healthy, Mark does well in school, especially in math, but he performs best in a small class setting. He enjoys participating in team sports, swimming and tubing. Mark needs a family with firm and consistent rules and consequences. At least one stay at home parent is preferred for when Mark is at home. He is one of three siblings being placed individually because of very different needs. However, the children should be allowed continued contact with each other, at least by phone, e-mail or letter.
