Mercedes is a very sweet, caring child. She is called "Angel" by her caregivers. She is affectionate. When meeting new people, she is initially shy, then warms up and becomes a chatterbox. She loves sports; particularly jump rope, basketball, and swimming. She likes school and gets along well with her peers. Mercedes does require extra assistance with schoolwork. She enjoys learning new things, but needs to take her time in doing so. She is fond of music and feels it relaxes her. She likes Barbie dolls. She is not a picky eater. Mercedes will need lots of love and attention. She would do better in a family as the youngest child. She loves animals and will take good care of them.

Mercedes will like to have a mom and dad. She is excited about meeting her new family. She is looking forward to being in her "forever" family. She will need to be in a family who is open to therapy and committing to her special needs.
