Description
Michael is a loving and thoughtful youth. He enjoys video games, summer camps, go-cart racing, fishing, baseball and anything having to do with cars. Michael has been helping care for a neglected dog and he hopes to find a family that will want him and his dog. He currently participates in special services at school and tries really hard. He attends Catholic Church with his foster family and his faith is important to him. Michael hopes to be able to play sports when he is adopted. Michael's CASA states, "Michael will capture your heart through his thoughtful ways, playful spirit, and his desire to be loved. He's adventurous and an absolute blast to be around. While you're making a difference by welcoming him into your family, at the same time he will show you the amazing gift of unconditional love. His most recent question for me was 'Am I next on the list to get a home?' I want more than anything to say yes." Michael would do well with a single mother or two-parent family. Michael has been a great big brother to his foster sibling and wouldn't mind being placed with a younger child. Michael is excited to meet his forever family. Michael's family will need to be flexible and patient. They should be prepared to provide a great deal of love to Michael. Michael may require help at school and home in order to stay focused and on task. His family should be willing to help with homework on a regular basis and maintain an active interest in his education.
