He loves playing the saxophone in his school's band, riding his bike, and playing basketball. Michael is confident in his abilities and willing to try new things. He is very curious about his life and likes to take an active part in deciding his future. Michael attends regular classes and is doing well in school. He is progressing well in his counseling and should continue working on trusting adults.
Michelle is sweet, kind, and very friendly. She likes to help around the house, but sometimes needs to have instructions repeated. Michelle loves to play basketball and especially enjoys playing with a local recreation team. She also likes to play board games, jump on the trampoline, and talk on the phone. Her caseworker is pleased with the progress Michelle is making with her self-esteem. Michelle attends resource classes at school where her teachers work closely with her and are able to address any needs that may arise. She needs to pay more attention to some personal habits.
Michael and Michelle need parents who are able to provide them with a lot of attention. Michael wants an adoptive family that likes sports, outdoor activities, and will treat them like family. Both children will benefit from scheduled homework time to allow their academic skills to increase. They hope to have continued contact with their older brother and previous foster parents.
