Paola is a girl in need of a nurturing environment that will stimulate her growth and development. She thrives when her environment is consistent and she is comfortable with familiar faces. She attends school and seems to enjoy it. Paola is limited in all areas and needs assistance with her daily living skills. She is non-ambulatory and requires her wheelchair to get around. Paola feeds through a g-tube and is diagnosed with Shaken Baby Syndrome, static encephalopathy, retinal hemorrhage, cerebral palsy, profound mental retardation, blindness, and hearing impairment. Paola is growing up quickly and needs a special family to call her own. She has had to deal with a lot in her short life and needs a loving and nurturing family who will take care of her special needs.
