Description
Raven is a friendly, likeable teenager, who enjoys listening to music and reading books. She is involved in her youth group at church and states that her faith is important to her. Raven attends regular education classes and has lots of potential. Raven likes being on the go with her foster family, and wants a family that is active and fun. Currently, Raven does not participate in sports or clubs, but is looking forward to the opportunity to try and explore new things. Raven has a positive outlook for her future. She is excited about being adopted, and “wants a new start in life”. Raven's foster mom says that “Raven has been a joy to parent. She is easy going and does what is asked of her. One of Raven’s best qualities is her honesty. She is honest no matter what the situation.” Raven’s case manager states that Raven is a sweet girl who would be a great addition to a family. She deserves a forever family that can spoil her a little bit and give her the attention that she has never had. Raven desires to have both a mother and a father. She would be most successful in a home with no other children. She needs a family that can provide a loving environment, full of acceptance, patience and guidance. Raven needs a family that is willing to help her with her school work and praise her for her successes. An adoptive family would also need to be supportive and active in her therapeutic needs.
