According to her foster mom, Raven is very well-mannered, easy to get along with, and very appreciative of what is done for her. She is an outgoing, affectionate, and friendly child who enjoys talking and has lots of friends. Raven enjoys music and likes to sing, dance and draw. She has mentioned becoming a rapper or singer when she grows up, but she has also mentioned becoming a mortician, because they make a lot of money. Raven is currently in JROTC at school and likes it very much. Add “contemplating a military career” to her list. Raven attends regular classes at school where her lack of motivation is obvious on her report card. Tutoring is helping her catch up, but she needs to understand the importance of education in realizing her goals. Raven will do well with either a two-parent family or a single female parent and she will be fine with other children in the home. She needs a positive female role model and a structured, nurturing environment. Raven’s adoptive family needs to encourage her to apply herself in school in order to fulfill her personal career goals.
