Ricardo goes by the name of Ricky. He is a very friendly child and quite talkative once he gets to know you, but you can expect shyness to control his behaviors initially and he may seem a bit standoffish. Ricky is very affectionate and isn't afraid to ask for hugs. He is vocal with his feelings, at least his happy feelings. Ricky will also let you know when he is not happy about something and why. He will verbally express his love and emotions, but he wants to hear it back in return. Favoring outdoor activities and play, Ricky is a country boy at heart, but can adjust to any surroundings as long as he has an outdoor yard or area to play. He likes trees, dirt, rocks and crawling creatures. He has a great imagination and seldom needs toys to play with outside. He creates his own play wonderland. Ricky participates in speech therapy to maintain the progress he has already made. He continues to do well in this area. He will need a family willing to work on his speech issues as he really tries to makes others understand him. Ricky is a typical playful little boy looking for a family to love. He will need time to adjust to a new family and home. He is able to get along with others in a loving way, but can be challenging and difficult, especially in the mornings. Ricky will thrive in a loving family. He is very loving and needs a family with lots of patience and understanding. He will blend in nicely with a family with one or two other children, but will also do fine as an only child.
