Rosaelba (Rose) is an active girl who likes school, volleyball and camping. She wants things to go her way and can have mood swings that take her from very happy to very sad quickly. A pizza fan, Rose likes hot dogs and most fast foods. Although she is not much for toys, she adores stuffed animals and sleeps with them. Rose has found school fun, but challenging and she has been offered special education assistance. She performs below grade level in many areas. She likes math, but has trouble understanding it. She can be assertive, likes to get her own way with peers and does not like to play with children her age. She responds to redirection most of the time.

The family for Rosa will need to provide security, love, patience, structure and nurturing. They will need to advocate for her educational needs and provide close supervision, praise and redirection.
