Description
Tashia (10/92) can be a very likable, outgoing teenager who makes friends easily. At times, she can be very pleasant and helpful to adults and peers. Tashia has made great improvements at her current placement which has worked with her to address the results of her past abuse. Tashia has no current medical issues. She wears glasses and has been prescribed a hearing aid, which she does not wear often. Tashia will be entering the eighth grade. She is behind academically, and is in special education classes. She changed schools frequently prior to placement in foster care which may have resulted in her academic delays. She does not have a favorite subject in school and says she does not enjoy school. In her spare time, Tashia loves to read, especially Harry Potter novels. She also enjoys drawing and writing poetry. She is not involved in any organized sport or activity at this time. Tashai loves music. She does not play any instruments now, but she says she would like to learn to play the guitar. The one thing Tashia wants the most in the world is a family to call her own. She stated, "I want someone to love me for who I am."
