He also loves to read about gemstones and is fascinated with earth science. This bright and energetic child enjoys outdoor activities, exploring nature, and visiting museums. Thomas is always polite and respectful to adults. Thomas attends regular classes at school. With motivation and assistance he could be on the honor roll. Staying on task and completing assignments have become major challenges for him. Thomas has set several short term goals dealing with socialization, coping skills, and just learning to take things one day at a time. He is also working on taking responsibility for his actions. Thomas would thrive in a family who will surround him with love and support. They should be understanding of his needs and be aware of the importance of continued counseling. It would be wonderful if they also shared his interest in travel and expose him to new experiences. Thomas needs a family who will spend time with him and nurture his creativity, while providing the structure and consistency that every child needs.
