She also likes being around other children, and being involved in church youth group activities and summer camp. Alana is a very funny person; however, she can be shy when first meeting new people. She also enjoys “hanging out” with her friends. Alana likes to be going or doing something all the time. Alana would like a family that is involved in church and most of all she wants a family to call her own. A two-parent family is preferred for Alana. Staff may consider other placement options based upon the child’s needs. Parents need to be nurturing, active, resourceful, committed and able to set age appropriate boundaries.
