Alberto is a 13-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Alberto is a very lovable child who is a joy to be around. He has been diagnosed as a spastic quadriplegic with seizures. He is also diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, is visually impaired, has a feed pump and requires oxygen when he sleeps. Alberto is dependent on his caregiver to meet all of his needs. He participates in recreation, such as being placed on the beanbag, sitting outside in his wheelchair, being held and rocked and listening to music with headphones. Alberto is a child with many special needs, but he is an easily loved child who enjoys being on the swing outside at school. He goes to school half a day and participates in special classes. He enjoys quiet time at home after school each day. He recognizes the voices of his caregivers and foster family. Although, Alberto's condition prevents him from participating in age related activities, his current foster family includes him in all of their family functions. He cries when he is upset or has a seizure and he is calmed talking to him and rubbing him gently. Visit me at the TARE Gallery.

Alberto needs a family who can be patient and learn about all of his challenges so that they will be able to meet all of his special needs. He needs a loving family to care for him.
