Description
This handsome young man is Alex! Alex, who's first name is actually David, is a cutie with blond hard and freckles across his nose. He also has glasses, but does not wear them on a consistent basis.
Alex is described as a very outgoing and energetic child. He communicates well and appears to be on target developmentally. Though Alex makes friends easily, he struggles with maintaining these friendships. Alex is learning the importance of being truthful and treating other as he would like to be treated. He takes medication to manage his behavior.
Alex takes care of his own daily hygiene needs, and is physically healthy. He loves to eat and his favorite foods are cheese pizza and chicken nuggets.
Alex is currently in the 3rd grade and in all regular classes except reading. His school is working to support his needs by initiating an IEP for reading and looking into modifying some of his other classes.
After school in the afternoons, Alex can be found riding his bike or playing with his skateboard. He also likes to draw and tinker with objects.
Alex needs a nurturing and loving family who can provide him with firm boundaries, steady routine, and encouragement in all of his endeavors. His new family will need help Alex make positive choices for himself and reward him when he does so. With patience and love, Alex will fit into his new family nicely and be a pleasure to parent.
