Her name is Alexandra, but you might mistake her for Rachel Ray. Alexandra loves to cook and is pretty good at it, with adult supervision. She has a healthy appetite and her favorite food is lasagna. Rachel (oops), I mean Alexandra is also learning to sew and she enjoys watching the Disney Movie Channel. Alexandra is an organizer. She keeps her clothing and other items in her room very well organized. She loves to spend time alone in her room looking at fashion magazines and matching up clothing. While she does get along will with other children she prefers to spend a lot of time on her own. Alexandra's favorite school subject is reading. She also enjoys art class, as she likes to be creative and draw. In school Alexandra receives extra one-on-one time to help raise her grades. She is working on her social skills, and learning to have good peer relations. At times, does not follow directions at school and can be disruptive. Alexandra needs a structured, supervised and supportive family environment with an experienced family who can teach her the meaning of love and attachment. She needs a loving family who will be patient and have the desire to work with her and help her through her issues. She would do best in a family where she is the only child. She is somewhat fearful of animals, so a home without pets would be best for her. Alexandra has other siblings but are not being adopted with them. She would like to remain in contact with them.
