"I want a Christian family that has a swimming pool.” Allen loves to swim, and he likes school, especially math. Basketball is his first choice of sports, but he also likes biking. Allen also likes dogs and a Rottweiler is the dog he would love to have. Allen is a very attractive young man with a smile that will melt your heart. Allen's abusive past has had a great impact on his young life, but Allen is a survivor that needs help with his social skills. He longs to have a family found just for him. He has the ability to attach, especially to a strong male role model. Allen has a younger sister whom he wishes to have a relationship with someday. Allen's counselors say that he is very inquisitive which makes for a good learner, intelligent, very loyal, a good helper, respects personal property of those who trust him with their possessions, compassionate, and loving. Allen is also in instigator among his peers, but he is working on this issue daily. Allen's counselors feel that Allen may thrive better in a Caucasian family. He needs a one-on-one mentor, or a family, that can be consistent with boundaries that are realistic, and supportive with in ongoing counseling needs. Regarding rules, they must be consistent and not changed in the middle of things because adaptation is difficult for Allen.
