Andrea is a 12-year-old girl from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Andrea is a very caring person with a great personality. She is very likeable. Andrea loves to dance and sing and hopes to be a cheerleader or on the dance team this year. You can catch her watching Hannah Montana or High School Musical and states her favorite foods are Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Mexican food, hamburgers and chocolate milk shakes. Andrea struggles educationally and receives extra help in school with her classes. Her favorite subjects are math and reading and she works really hard on her assignments during the day and at home. At times when Andrea does not get her way she can become upset and have tantrums that can become quarrelsome. She also tends to wonder off a lot and not listen to adults. Andrea does best with close supervision and redirection. She is aware of the need to work on managing her anger and behavior so she can get along better with her peers. Andrea wants parents who are loving and caring and who can give her a lot of attention. Her new family needs to provide a high level of supervision as well as have a daily routine. She will do best in a home with no other children. It would also be best for Andrea to be in a family that is very flexible and will have the time to go to maintain needed services and resources for Andrea.
