The “strong, silent type” at 14 years old, Andrew smiles shyly if anyone asks him a question like what he likes to do in his spare time. But he always has an answer, even if he doesn’t let on at first. A few of his favorite things are football, video games and comic book movies. Playing sports is definitely on top of his list of things he likes to do. Being part of a caring family and spending time together would also be essential to Andrew and is something he hopes for in the future. Spending time with friends is, of course, also very important. Through the support of caring people, Andrew knows he is loved and nothing keeps him down for long. Andrew hopes to spend time in the medical field and fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor when he grows up. He says he would like to serve others, no matter what he does in life. This was a promise he made to his aunt before she died of cancer. He promised to find cures for diseases, so he could make life a little better for other people. That’s his dream in life, to serve others, no matter what. With his shy optimism and a hope for a loving family, there’s no doubt Andrew can achieve his dreams.
