Angel is a 13-year-old boy from Texas who is hoping to be adopted.

Angel is described as "laid-back" and "easy-going" when it comes to life. His favorite past-time is playing video games. When he's not playing on his Game Boy, he can be found watching movies or listening to his favorite CDs, or reading comics. Angel doesn't need any encouragement to go outdoors. He likes to run around and ride bikes. He enjoys living in the country where he has lots of space to roam around. He hopes that he'll have a dad to take him camping, fishing, and maybe even hunting. Although organized athletics are not a priority for Angel, he loves to spend time throwing footballs and baseballs. A Longhorn fan, Angel hopes to attend college at UT Austin one day. Angel loves to eat anything sweet, especially chocolate! Not surprisingly, he stated his favorite part of camping was eating Smores! Angel is a bright young child, but not always motivated to complete his work at school and home. He'll need help to make sure his homework is completed. Angel will need continued assistance to help him learn appropriate ways of expressing his feelings. He admits that he gets into trouble for not always listening and following directions.

Angel needs patient, understanding, and committed parents, who will work with him as he transitions to his new home. An active family willing to keep Angel involved in outdoor and athletic activities will be important to him. Angel's ideal family will be experienced in working with children with emotional needs and will be able to provide him with a sense of security as he learns to trust. Angel is able to get along with younger and older children. He hopes that his adoptive family will have other children to play with. He enjoys pets and hopes to have dogs in his family.
