Angel is an 18-year-old girl from Kentucky who is hoping to be adopted.
ANGEL (8/91) and TONYA (8/92) are siblings who love each other but who often fight with one another. They have not lived together in two years but hopefully they can be reunited. Angel really does not like school but she maintains average grades. She struggles with Math and Science. She is in band which she enjoys over all her other subjects. Her teachers describe her as a quiet child who stays pretty much to herself. Angel has a friendly personality and is quiet and reserved until you get to know her. When she is not sure of something, as in court appearances, she will let her sister do the talking for her, even though Angel is the oldest. She loves to be around smaller children rather than adults. She likes animals, especially dogs and cats. Angel understands adoption and made the Family Court judge aware that she wants to be adopted. She told the judge that she wants to have real parents that she can call mommy and daddy without having to say they are just my foster parents. Angel is looking for an adoptive home with small children where she is the oldest child. Tonya has problems interacting with peers and adults. She utilizes her communication skills to socialize yet she struggles with maintaining friendships and good relationships. Tonya is very intelligent however her grades are average. Her favorite subject is Math. Tonya has a friendly personality but at times she can display a negative attitude. She is creative, humorous, energetic, and very assertive. Even though Tonya is younger than her sister Angel she will come to her sister’s defense when she feels like Angel can not handle a situation. While her sister, Angel, is not an organized person, Tonya likes her things in order. Tonya is artistic and loves to draw, color, paint and create crafts in her leisure time. She also likes to read. Tonya is looking forward to being adopted but is leery about who her parents might be. Both girls need to feel safe with consistency, stability, and security in a new home.Siblings
