Anthony is a 12-year-old boy from Ohio who is hoping to be adopted.

Anthony was born on 12-12-96 and has been in the USA since 2004. He was adopted along with a biological sibling who will be remaining in the adoptive home. Anthony is currently in the 6th grade and receives good grades. Anthony is diagnosed with ADHD and at times can be disruptive in class. He is currently diagnosed with mild depression and takes medication to help stabilize his mood. Anthony has been in counseling and is making progress dealing with his past neglect. Anthony has been absorbed into the At Risk Youth program with the local courts. He has appeared in court, and served time in juvenile detention, several times due to disruptive behaviors. Anthony is also now working with a new team of counselors via the CHAP program with Catholic Community Charities (CCS). Anthony would be best served by a family with experience dealing with older adopted children. At this time, his current family feels that he is not bonded to them or they to him. Anthony is a very humorous child. Other children tend to enjoy his company. He loves soccer, drawing, swimming, and riding his bike. Anthony would do best in a family that is committed to him and has structure within the home.
