These two brothers, Anthony (born 11/90) and Jacob (born 7/92), believe they are a couple of great kids and they are most certainly right! These boys live apart, but they visit regularly. They have a close bond and a bit of sibling rivalry. It is hoped that they will be re-united in an adoptive home. Anthony is getting himself together so he will be ready for an adoptive family. He is learning how to break old habits and how to get attention through positive behaviors. Anthony is doing well in school. He excels at reading, but needs a little help with math. Anthony is athletic and enjoys basketball, baseball, and football. He likes to listen to Rap music, joke around, and tease. Anthony knows how to be respectful and he is building leadership skills. He is a young man who usually knows what he wants, and he isn’t afraid to stand up for himself. Jacob is also getting himself together. He makes average grades but knows he can do better. Let’s just say he likes the social part of school best. Jacob makes friends easily. He is very talkative and doesn’t mind being the center of attention. He is likeable and likes to clown around. He listens to Hip Hop music and likes to watch reality shows on TV. In reality, Jacob knows that he could benefit from gaining a permanent family and being adopted. Anthony and Jacob need a family who will help them solve their problems and marvel at what they can do. They need a family who will believe in them, set boundaries that keep them safe, and will tell them how terrific they are.
